Substation Phase Shifters are Equipment Container containers within Substations. They include two Equipment Containers: Terminal-A and Terminal-B. Each Terminal-side containers normally include at least one piece of equipment associated with a Phase Shifter.

Substation Phase Shifters can be created, modified and deleted from the 'Phase Shifters' window.
To manage a Substation Phase Shifter, use the 'Insert' or 'Edit' context menu item accessible via clicking the right mouse button on an item within the treeview of Line Sections and Substations within the Application's main window. Using the 'Insert' menu item will cause a new Substation Phase Shifter to be created and inserted immediately prior to the currently selected item.

Or, you can create a new Substation Phase Shifter by utilizing the 'New' context menu item on the Substation in which you wish to add the Substation Phase Shifter. Using the 'New' menu item will cause a new Substation Phase Shifter to be created and appended to the end of the current list of known elements within the corresponding Substation.

Creating a new Substation Phase Shifter will bring up the Substation Phase Shifter properties window. Note: Data entry fields for which you are required to supply information have a non-white background color.

Editing a Substation Phase Shifter will bring up the Substation Phase Shifter properties window filled in with its current values.
