Line Sections are Equipment Containers which are located in the 'Line' category in the Line Sections window's Treeview control. The intent of a Line Section is that it will include at least one piece of equipment associated with a Conductor/Wire (i.e. Overhead Wire, Overhead Sag, ...).

Line Sections can be created, modified and deleted from the 'Line Sections' window.
To manage a Line Section, use the 'Insert' or 'Edit' context menu item accessible via clicking the right mouse button on an item within the treeview of Line Sections and Substations within the Application's main window. Using the 'Insert' menu item will cause a new Line Section to be created and inserted immediately prior to the currently selected Line Section.

Or, you can create a new Line Section by utilizing the 'New' context menu item on the 'Line' category item in the treeview; within the desired Division. Using the 'New' menu item will cause a new Line Section to be created and appended to the end of the current list of known Line Sections within the corresponding Division.

Creating a new Line Section will bring up the Line Section properties window. Note: Data entry fields for which you are required to supply information have a non-white background color.

Editing a Line Section will bring up the Line Section properties window filled in with its current values.
